Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., India's leading 4G mobile
broadband and digital service provider, will install the next generation
multi-terabit India-Asia-Xpress (IAX) underwater cable system in Hulhumale,
Maldives. The high-capacity, high-speed IAX system will link Hulhumale directly

Middle East, North Africa, and the Mediterranean. While IAX is scheduled to be
operational by the end of 2023, IEX is projected to be operational by the
middle of 2024.
