CryptoWire joins forces with Bitbns to trade in India
CryptoWire, a worldwide crypto mega app, has agreed to post India's first crypto index, IC15, on Bitbns, a cryptocurrency exchange.
The IC15 index is a market capitalization-based rule-based
broad market index that follows and evaluates the performance of the top 15
extensively traded liquid cryptocurrencies listed on the world's largest crypto
exchanges. The software will track crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance
currency, Solana, Cardano, Ripple, Terra, Dogecoin, and Shiba inu.
"IC15 is India's first global index of crypto
currencies, and it represents more than 80% of crypto assets by market
value," stated Joseph Massey, MD & CEO of CryptoWire. As the cryptocurrency
industry grows and expands, players will find the IC15 index to be of
considerably greater institutional utility through ETFs and alternative asset
management products."
Trading in the IC15 index, according to Gaurav Dahake,
founder and CEO of Bitbns exchange, would put India on the global crypto map
since the index values will be viewed internationally, allowing the industry to
track broad-based activity in the crypto business. "The index will also
highlight the market price ramifications of major global news and policy
decisions," he said.
Bitbns' licence agreement with CryptoWire will address the trading community's long-desired requirement for trading in the IC15 index, which permits clean trading on underlying prices without the hurdles of accepting delivery in individual coin. According to the exchange, Bitbns has 4 million users and 350 coin-pairs exchanged on the exchange, and we expect that our users will profit greatly from IC15.
