is also known as the Land of Nirvana.
WAYANAD:
Wayanad,
also known as Nature's Abode, is home to ancient historical caverns, friendly
resorts, gorgeous waterfalls, and magnificent homestays. The region is also
well-known for its spice farms and animals. Visit the spice farms and climb
into the prehistoric caverns while you're here.
KANYAKUMARI:
Kanyakumari
used to be known as Cape Comorin. The location is a hilly environment
surrounded by three oceans, with towering and bold coconut palms, hills, and
paddy fields. Aside from that, Kanyakumari is the only site in the country in
which you can see the dawn and sunset from the very same beach.
POOVAR:
A little rural
village 27 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram with Kerala's least visited
golden sand beaches and picturesque backwaters. Poovar Island, which is also a
fishing community, is located between the Neyyar River and the Arabian Sea.
When you arrive, charter a boat (preferably around twilight) to take you on a
backwater tour of the mangrove forest, which is a must-do experience.
VARKALA:
Varkala is
Kerala's hidden jewel, famous for its distinctive 15-meter-high Northern Cliff
that overlooks the Arabian Sea. The hippy lifestyle is well-known here, and the
cliffs offer delicious fish and play worldwide music. Janardhana Swami Temple,
popularly known as Dakshin Kashi, is also located here.
COONOOR:
Coonoor is a tranquil hill town in Tamil Nadu famed for its tea farms. The location draws nature enthusiasts from all across the country since it is flanked by the Nilgiri Hills. Roses, eucalyptus trees, and rhododendrons abound, particularly in Sim's Park. The steam Nilgiri Mountain Railway runs through Coonoor and provides breathtaking views of the lush green Nilgiri Hills.
