Every year
October 10 is observed as the World Mental Health Day. This day of October is
celebrated across the world to create awareness about the importance of mental
health. World Mental Health Dya was first celebrated in the year 1992 at an
initiative by World Federation for Mental Health, a mental health organization
that operates in more than 150 countries. This day is not just observed for
those who have advanced mental illness but most importantly to those who are
victims of stress, burn out, anxiety and also various form of emotional abuse
or trauma.
World Mental
Health Day encourages people to stop being hesitant and speak more openly about
their worries and fears. It is made to beat the taboo of discrimination and
stigma revolving around not to talk about mental health issues.
On this day, a large amount of activities and awareness programmes are done to encourage attention regarding mental health for people.

the WHO report between 1990 and 2017 one in every 7 persons have suffered from
anxiety, depession and several mental health conditions. There are speculations
