    It will always be a matter of discussion and debate down the line regarding giving recognition and fame to various “character actors” in Bollywood. The industry has a variety of new actors who are known to have given impactful performances. They have proved to be the best fit for the characters assigned to them making their movies watch-worthy and notable. These actors are then categorized as underrated where they are unable to get meatier roles where they are ever appreciated or honoured. As people debate on nepotism and equal opportunity, we have created a list of 10 Characters who always gave apt performances on screen and these characters deserved so much more deserving chances.

    1. Abhay Deol

    He is one of the finest Bollywood actors who has given impressive character performances in movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The charm in his persona is more than enough to win the hearts of the audience and we all wish to have him back on the screens with some of the best lead roles.

    Jim Sarbh is another actor who is underrated and who grabs some extraordinary screen roles and creates his own audience sets. His character in the movies like Padmavat, Sanju and Neerja give a vibrant and fresh touch to the storylines as a whole.

    3. Arshad Warsi

Recently, Shreyas lent the dubbing voice to actor Allu Arjun for the film Pushpa in Hindi.

    6. Adil Hussain


    It is quite hard to ignore Adil Hussain when he is found playing a character in a particular movie. His personality has a unique reverb which makes the audience hooked to the film. With a perfect dialogue delivery and expressions in films like English Vinglish, Good News etc are some movies where we actually loved him for his character portrayal.

    One of the versatile actors who was never given to play a lead role in some of the highest-grossing movies, Boman Irani’s natural charm, expressions and personality as a whole are more than enough to make us fall in love with his characters in the movies.     Established as a superstar of Tamil Nadu, R. Madhavan has a long way to achieve in Bollywood.     With a charm and innocence present in her personality as a whole, Radhika Apte is one such underrated heroine in Bollywood who is struggling to create a place for herself in the industry. She has created a mark for herself in regional cinema by acting in Tamil Film Kabali opposite Rajnikanth and in Marathi language films. She made her debut in the film Shor: In the City, Badlapur giving some brilliant performances.

    10. Konkona Sen Sharma



    The prestigious National film awardee for the film “ Life in Metro '', Konkona Sen Sharma is just superior to any other actress. Her brilliant and versatile acting is more than enough for making critics appreciate her performance. She played a prominent role in the film Wake Up Sid, Lipstick Under my Burkha,  etc as a lead actress.
